Only the elderly write letters by hand now.
About 3 months ago I recieved a handwritten letter from my aunt. I have an 84 year old aunt who writes to me. She doesn't use a computer, email or cell phone. I enjoy writing back to her, but I write on a computer and print it out, as my handwriting is atrocious and it is a laborious process for me to hand-print in order to be legible. In some way I think it is sad that so many of us do not know how to write a letter. Printed, typed or hand written, the short-hand that passes for communication these days is sad to see. I wonder if it is reflected in an inability to think things through in depth.
